The sink-in question#
Nectar's mattress is defined by slow-recovery memory foam: you settle into it and it holds you. People who love that feel love it; people who do not describe it as being "stuck" or "sleeping in a hole", and find turning over an effort. There is no way to know which camp you are in without sleeping on it, which is what the trial is for.
Luxe's advantage is that they sell both feels. Their memory-foam models (Reverso, Tempure Velure) give the hug; their spring and latex models give push-back. Heat, and who each brand suits by weight#
Sinking deeper into foam traps more heat, which is why memory-foam mattresses have a reputation for sleeping warm. Nectar's cover and, in its hybrid, spring layer mitigate this; Luxe's hybrids and latex models avoid it by construction, with the LuxeTherm Hybrid adding phase-change foam on top. For a hot sleeper, a sprung Luxe is the safer bet.
Body weight cuts the same way. Which is better for a heavier sleeper?#

Does Nectar's 365-night trial beat Luxe's 100?#
