Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Sleepy Sheep handles your data. We aim to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Anonymous analytics about how the site is used (pages viewed, device type, approximate country and city). To tell new visitors from returning ones, a random ID is kept in your browser's local storage; it isn't linked to you and no cookies are used. You can stop it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
• Quiz answers, used only to generate your recommendations in the browser, we do not require an account.
• Your email address, only if you sign up for deal alerts. We keep it, where you signed up and the date you agreed, to send the alerts you asked for. We never sell or share it. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, or email us and we'll remove you.

Affiliate tracking

When you click an affiliate link, the retailer and their affiliate network (e.g. AWIN) may set cookies to attribute a purchase. This is governed by their own privacy policies.

Facebook and social media

Our Facebook app is used only to publish links to our own guides and reviews on the Sleepy Sheep Facebook Page. It does not offer Facebook Login and does not collect, store or process any data about Facebook users.

Your rights and data deletion

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, or deletion of, any personal data we hold. Email hello@sleepysheep.co.ukwith the subject "Data deletion request" and we'll respond within 30 days.
