Sleeping cool and foam smell#

That last row matters for warranty claims. A guarantee is only as good as the company standing behind it, and Eve's is now honoured by Bensons for Beds under Bensons' terms. That is arguably more secure than a start-up's guarantee, but it is not the same brand promise the original Eve marketing made, so read the current terms rather than an old review.

Buying through a bed retailer versus buying from the factory#
Eve is now sold by a national bed retailer, which brings showrooms, finance, delivery slots and bundled bases, plus retailer sale cycles. The Foam People sell direct from their own factory: no showroom, no finance, but a fixed price that does not swing with promotions and a product cut to your measurements. If you like to lie on a mattress before buying, Eve wins by default. If you know what you want and want to spend the least, the factory-direct model is cheaper.
A word on "medium universal" feels. In practice both cover manufacturing defects and sagging beyond a stated depth (usually 2–3cm), not gradual softening, and most foam softening happens gradually.3 The longer warranty is worth having, but it is not a promise the mattress will feel new for ten years.
