Who the Majestic 11000 Extra Firm suits
The Majestic 11000 is the firmest mattress on this site, and it exists for people whose requirement is not "firm" but "as firm as possible". Heavier sleepers who have compressed through every mattress they have owned, front sleepers who need the hips held up, and anyone who genuinely prefers sleeping on a hard surface.

Construction and materials
Twenty-three centimetres of high-density reflex foam over a reinforced support core, under a quilted cover. The reinforcement is the difference from the 9000: a denser, more rigid base layer that resists compression under greater load, which is what makes this the pick for heavier bodies.
Reflex foam resists rather than contours, so the feel is of lying on the mattress rather than in it. That is the intended behaviour of an orthopaedic build, not a compromise.
Comfort and support
